Kindergarten Improvement

This project was born in the heart of one of our volunteers from Canada, when she viewed the conditions of poverty and the deterioration of the facilities of this school. What she saw was children sitting on cinder blocks, no chairs or desks, a roof with holes, leaking water onto the children and a useless fence lying on the ground, meant to protect the students.

After seeing all these hazards, she decided to sell plants to fundraise for improvements for the school. Every Christmas season, she has her plant sale project, with all funds sent to this school in Honduras, to improve the facilities and help children learn in a safe and encouraging environment.

With the help and support of Bethany Henderson from Canada, It has been possible to make small improvements in the infrastructure of Eloisa Jallul Kindergarten. There is still much to be done, as building the entire area of the school fence.
