During the Florida de Copan brigade, several families were asked about raising chickens, in order to promote good health and nutrition, to assist with financial stability and strengthen self reliance.
Bethany United Methodist Church in Ellicott City Maryland endowed 10 families the gift of a small flock of mature chickens (4 hens and 1 rooster) to begin this journey.
Through benevolence, education and determination, these families will have the opportunity to effect positive changes in their lives.
